Introduction
Back in August 2010, Arctic unleashed the Sound P-series with 7 different headphones and headsets. Since then, Vortez had the chance to take a look at a few Sound P products, including the P301 (see the review on Vortez: Link) and the P311 (see the review on Vortez: Link). Both of these headsets performed well in ours tests and each offered good value.
Today, Vortez takes another shot at reviewing a Sound P product: the Arctic Sound P531. The P531 is currently Arctic’s most expensive headset. Unlike the other headsets of the Sound P-series, the P531 brings 5.1 surround sound to the table, and this should allow a whole new level of gaming and multimedia experience. Other noteworthy features of this supra-aural headset include USB connectivity, vibration feedback ear cups, and a flexible and foldable design.
