Powercolor continue to impress with their range of innovative graphics cards and still have more to come. Expected late March/early April we will see the HD 7970 Vortex II. A custom made PCB design shipping with a core speed of 1050MHz and is cooled by a heatsink with 4x 8mm heatpipes and twin removable fans.

The HD 7970 Vortex II

Fans are removable for easy cleaning

The fans are also height adjustable and can be angled to direct the airflow to desired locations

PCI-Express 3.0 goodness, as well as a hint that this particular PCB may offer, cheaper, 1.5GB versions.

Price for this model is expected to carry a £30 premium over reference versions.
