In its default setup, the Hyper 212 EVO outperforms its predecessor by 1.25C, doing so using lower RPM fans and thus demonstrating the efficiency of the new base design. This is also enough to outperform the Enermax ETS-T40 and the Noctua NH-U12P with two stock NF-P12 fans. Using the latter two fans, the Hyper 212 EVO proves more efficient and matches the Triglav sharing the same configuration. Using two Noctua NF-P14s, performance matches the Zero Infinity Free Flow+ using a single stock fan and the Matterhorn also using a single stock fan. In its best configuration, the performance is only 0.25C less than before but it lies very close to the Noctua NH-C14.
