Back in June at Computex 2012 GIGABYTE announced Ultra Durable 5 (UD5) – their next phase of the Ultra Durable standard. Along with this extensive lineup of high-quality components came a new range of motherboards equipped with UD5. This new ‘UP’ range covers the Intel X79 and Intel Z77 chipsets, the Intel Z77 lineup sporting dual 10GBps ThunderBolt ports.
