This test method belongs to the MIL-STD-810 military standard, used by the United States Department of Defense. Without a doubt, In Win means serious business with the AMMO. I would have preferred if In Win provided more information in regards to this test method on their website, as this test is unknown for an average consumer.

Also, the AMMO features data encryption through radio-frequency identification technology, or RFID technology. Basically, once the encryption is enabled, the data contained on a hard drive configured with the AMMO may only be accessible with the intermediate of a unique RFID tag. Without this RFID tag, the hard drive is effectively locked, even with the hard drive removed from the enclosure. This adds a good level of security to protect your data.
