The subwoofer

The subwoofer is made out of MDF, a common material used for such a thing and is coated in a sleek, off white, faux leather material. The fascia is white with black material covering the 5" driver. The slot at the top is the air port, this design is refreshing compared to the standard large gaping port hole.

Rear I/O

At the back of the sub/amplifier, we have a 3.5mm audio in, Volume dial, 2x RCA audio out for the satellites, the power connection and power switch.

The satellies have an open back

These satellites are specially designed with an open back, this allows greater freedom for the drivers allowing better sound reproduction (in theory).

Pair of satellites

The satellite speakers have two drivers, a mid range 4" and mounted in the middle is a 0.7" tweeter, this design allows the sounds to be more unified. Standing at 230mm tall, these are on the larger side of what many would be used to for a desktop but their nice design wouldn't put them out of place in the living room should this 2.1 setup be used for any other media device with a 3.5mm jack.
