IR Remote and USB Sensor

The AD12 comes with a ZOTAC branded remote control, powered by two bundled CR2032 'button' batteries, and an additional sensor for connection via USB when necessary. This model of remote and sensor is identical to that of the AD11, notable for it's excellent responsiveness and button quality. The internal IR can be disabled in BIOS if the auxilary sensor is preferred.

Antenna for Wireless Networking

As previously mentioned, the AD12's wireless networking adapter is an integrated Atheros AR9002W-1NG capable of 802.11a/b/g/n, rather than relying on a USB adapter. A monopole antenna is included to be screwed into the unit's rear which can be articulated to orientations suitable for VESA mounting or merely stood on a TV stand's shelf. Obviously if wireless networking isn't a feature you need then there's no requirement to use the antenna.
