Absolute beast of a cooler in size. A real shame the performance was just slightly off hopefully one of there products will top the charts soon. Nice to see a manufactor taking on board your thoughts not often that you see that happen. |

Excellent review on a cooler as usual from vortez. Great design really love the look of it, on paper and due to it design and sheer size you would think it would be the best, although just doesnt cut the mustard, but only a few degree's its still one of the best. I think one of the reasons its not slightly better may be the closed fins at the side, which due to its design ad in thoery should work but think doesnt in this situtation. Great review and still exellent cooler though performs with the best and looks great |

Nice review, Sahil. As usual, Alpenföhn can't seem to make a winning design -- just an also-ran. At least it's quiet. I think one mistake is closing those edges. I'm at the end of a long series of tests with the NH-D14, and I have come to see the air blowing out from the sides of the first finstack and being drawn into the second finstack as adding to the cooling effect. And I think we can see that eight heatpipes is two too many. I love the granular analysis. Keep it up. |

Excellent review Sahil I like the look of that mounting system. The Silver Arrow can be a devil to fit correctly. I've found that this is most crucial part with these big twin tower coolers. Not exactly right and you get poor performance I appreciate you cover all angles with your testing methods. But paying out for extra/or better fans on top of the £65 is not a deal winner really Silver Arrow for the win! LOL |

As a water cooler, I'm not interested in the K2 at all. However, must say those fans look spectacular. I've never really noticed them before, but I'm certainly going to look them up now. Great pics by the way. |
