Its interesting to see this goes at a similar price to 570 OC / 580. People generally favour NV over AMD for the drivers so I imagine this is what many will be doing instead if they are looking to upgrade for this kind of money.

I thought this was meant to be a successor to the 6870...? at that price... jog on! Ive recently looked at how smaller fabrications are starting to incrase in cost but realistically its because of poor implementation. and the end customer is being charged for all the hassles caused by the fab changes. realistically.. larger wafers smaller fab will decrease the cost per die.. but with poor quality silicon crystals poor yields and immature fab tech, the cost ends up getting palmed off to the customer where as end profits stay the same or increase for the companies...

when the price of this drops to around £150 then it will be a winner!
