Looks like a great product. On the inside picture, where are the front panel connectors routed? On the back it looks as though they're in the same hole as the 24-pin ATX power. Also, the 4/8-pin ATX power cable looks as though it wouldn't stretch up to the top hole, but you've put it though the mobo backplate hole instead. Might be an issue for some, depending on what hardware they have. Plenty of space and features, fairly tidy inside, but the outside is not to my taste. If it was a little more subtle I think I'd like that aspect more. Essentially though, it does what it claims. Also, on your temp graphs, is it possible to do a temp delta from idle to load, as the ambient may be different each time? Perhaps you've already thought about this, but it just occurred to me. |

Possibly the best air cooling case available today but it'is not really to my tastes. Great review as always David. |

Migrated from a CM Stacker 810 to this bad boy a while back, never needed to look the other way! |

Sadly, I had already gone quite a way into the case reviews before this delta temp thing came up and I realised that I should have done it this way. In the current lifecycle its too late but once I move onto new hardware for case reviews and we start again I will get onto those delta's for sure! |

Buy an aircon unit to set your room temp. It's what I use for my GPU reviews. |

Excellent review there as always Mish actually, owners of the HAF-X can request the USB 3.0 internal header (to connect the front panel usb 3.0 to the motherboard) from CM under their "part request" facility, and they would ship it free of charge and also, in the FB post, it reads Quote:

I imagine it's something along the lines of the MSI lightnings, Gigabyte SOCs or the AMD HD6990s. The 6970 Lightning was 31.5cm in length when I had that. |

yeah its the 6990 at the moment - 12" I think. Like you say ehume - its a very flexible case. That hits the nail on the head! |

Nice review, and the usual great photography. Alas, I'd never buy this case. Although the performance is good it's very plasticy, which I'm not a great fan of. Give me that airflow performance and sleek lines and I'm sold. That said, do you reckon that this'll become a favourite case of heavy cosmetic modders like others in the HAF range? I've seen several Youtube videos where someone's used an old HAF as a starting point to create something amazing. |
