Not a bad looking case. Just really wierd how they sent you a case with only 1 fan yet will be selling them with in the UK market.

Good price for a USB 3.0 case with fan control and docking station, got all the features on not to bad a price.

One thing I would do to improve it though is add some rubber in PSU area and on the cable management holes so it doesnt rub your wires. Other than that I like it

yeah, at the mo I can only see it @ Ebuyer Cougar 6GR1 Evolution Case | Ebuyer.com if it comes as dual fan then they should have sent it in that way.

Indeed not a bad looking case. Price is ok too although I still remember the days where you used to get a nice aluminium Lian Li for £70!

Seems that a lot of new cases are appearing in the market and people building a new rig must be happy as there is so much choice.

A lot of cases seem to be appearing in the £70 - £80 bracket at the moment

On top of that it seems to me that you would need to shell out extra for at least 1 more 120mm fan for the front, 2 for the top and perhaps 1 to replace that yuck orange one that comes fitted (depending on taste) All in all your looking at the thin end of say £90 - £100 ish all done ?

2 minor questions Dave

1. How many fans would/does that intergrated fan controller support ? I see the fan control cables in one shot that may suggest up to 6?

2. Hot swap bay - workable and sturdy enough in use would you say? And are the associated cabling required to use this feature adequate?

Keep up the good work

This review needs a proofreader. Also, you forgot to change "A05FN" to "Evolution" on the thermal performance page. Great picture quality though.

I wonder why it is so hard for case manufacturers to give us even one extra inch of space in the ceilings of modern cases. It just seems like poor planning.

Visually it's not bad. Simple changes could make it better. That knob would have to go. Maybe rebuild the fascia in metal mesh. Fix the side window (carve the fan out, expand the window). Just little stuff.

Nice case. Pretty standard affair for the price bracket, just missing something to set it apart from the competition though. Can't be sniffed at for £80, seems like a decent buy.
