Not very useful for people who are visually impaired and need glasses anyway, unless they have started doing prescriptions.

Nice review gav Been hearing about these for a while now and was going to take a better look at them myself. Would certainly be helpful when sitting down doing a few hours work. My only hesitation before was that most of the hype regarding these was coming from eSports teams who were sponsored by GUNNAR...

Quite a lot of folk say these are a gimmick and you can understand where they are coming from but I've got a pair of Scope's and they do help with eyestrain.. if I play fast FPS without them I have bloodshot eyes!

I say the same too - nice review Gavin !

Actually, I read there's no difference between the models regarding to their "performance" when playing games or simply browsing, as they all use the same type of glass, just different designs on the models (with the exception of the ones meant for graphics, clear glass - and the prescription glasses).

In fact, I have a pair myself, the RPG Onyx! See picture below!

I must say I enjoy using them - for example, I was straining my eyes when reading the review (due to the dark color and bright text), but as soon as I took my GUNNARs on, the strain disappeared
I use them every time I'm gaming, and combined with a 144Hz monitor they work flawlessly, I feel like they improve my leet skills
I agree with the pricing, it's a tad too expensive - the US price is much more desirable (~$99 = 64), but luckily I didn't have to pay for mine, so it wasn't a problem for me!

Thanks I think it should be mandatory for any self-respecting gamer to get a pair of GUNNARS, it's a must have if you ask me!

And you're welcome Gavin
