That's weird - I copied and pasted the link across and for some reason it added a 'amp' randomly in the middle :S |

Hello. I would like to start by saying that your reviews are very well done, props! I am a hardware freak and spend many hours reading news and reviews, but watercooling is one theme I just dont know much about. The problem is every GPU, for instance, has a different waterblock, has you said, and there are too many options to consider. I have a good setup, I am finally happy with it but want to get rid of the noise all my fans make. This is my system: Case: CoolerMaster Scout Asus P8Z68-V Pro Intel i5 2500K @ 4,6Ghz 4Gb DDR3 1600Mhz CL7 2 GTX570 in SLI OCZ Vertex 60gb 2 250Gb in Raid 0 + 1 500Gb Asus Xonar DX Corsair TX-750w What is the total price for the active system you reviewded in this article and how much do you thing I must spend to have a wattercooled CPU + GPU´s system? Do you have any recommendations fo me? Thanks in advance. Keep up the good work! Andre |

Which active system in particular? As a rough figure, for a high end watercooling loop you're looking at £150-£200 for a CPU only loop, then £300ish if you want to chuck a GPU in there too. It sounds like a lot, but when you consider most of the parts can be re-used in future builds, it's really not too bad. Once you've got a budget in mind it would be a lot easier to decide on a spec. |
