Awesome

great review mate, looks like solid competition to the TPC 800!, and it looks better in my opinion too

Nothing says quality like a massive beast of a cooler

Am i right in thinking that better airflow in the case will yield better thermal results?

Yeah exactly. Anything passive usually requires decent airflow inside, with that review i had 500R with two fans at front spinning plus rear exhaust too. This cooler is ideal if you arent gonna be overclocking and wanna keep noise down as much as poss!

Great review as ever Mish, shame it can't take overclocks too well but for a passive cooler it did great. Seems like a good product, would still rather take a 212 or a T4 though.

it would be fab for say an i3 in my opinion, although anyone with a K chip at stock needs to get it overclocked

Small market though, for it's size you could get a much smaller cooler for a HTPC or LAN rig whilst it's inability to overclock makes it a poor choice at an enthusiast level, so really it's for the silent gamer or the high end HTPC I guess?

True, not a fussy one myself, my rig isn't all that nice inside but it works well so I don't mind too much
