AMD 2012 Product Lineup Revealed

A slide of AMD's 2012 product lineup reveals the rollout of AMD's Brazos 2.0, FX-X300 and A10 Series processing units.


A slide showing AMDs product lineup for 2012 has reavealed that the 'Trinity' Accelerated Processing Units using the 'Piledriver' cores will be known as the 5000 series, with the fastest having the 'A10' attachment. The A10-5000 series will come with the HD 7660D iGPU while the A8-5000 series will have the HD 7560D iGPU. The A10 and A8 series is expected in Q2 2012 alongside with the new low power 'Brazos 2.0' E1-1200 and E2-1800 APUs.



Come Q3 2012 we see the lower end A6-5000 and A4-5000 APUs rolled out and a refresh for the AM3+ in the form of the FX-X300 series. The new 'Vishera' CPUs will be using 4, 6 and 8 Piledriver cores with the flagship being the 8-core, FX-8350. 'Vishera' is expected to have gains of 15% IPC over the Bulldozer cores used in 'Zambezi'.
