Agni's Philosophy: Final Fantasy Realtime Tech Demo Showcasing 'Luminous Studio'
There is not much to report on this suffice to say that it looks absolutely stunning! This is a tech demo of their new engine, called Luminous Studio with everything rendered in real time and not pre-rendered. I'll leave the youtube video here but check out the source for some stunning hi res screen shots! Unreal Engine 4 may have to watch its back!
It is reported to be coming out on PC and next gen consoles.

Looks great! Again just like the new Cryengine and Unreal 4 demos, it has that same type of particle tech with the flames and ahses flying about, seems all the engines are making full use of this new technique, I love it! This engine itself looks real nice and quirky though got something to it, its not too realistic but just awesome! |

If this is in real time as stated I wonder what hardware is running it? I also wonder what games will use it? I'm secretly hoping for a Final Fantasy 7 and 8 HD remake  |

Hell yeh, looks better than realistic IMO, I think the whole point in an interesting game is for the graphics style NOT to be realistic... because lets face it..... most games atm are just trying to make it look like what we see out our eyes every day anyway...... A virtual game should get you away from that lol |
