News Editor: Craig Farren Date: 15-07-2012 [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]  Discuss in Forums

Only a few weeks after AMD released the Radeon HD 7970 GHz edition, the company has announced it is modifying its pricing structure for its 7000 series Cards.

AMD released the HD 7970 GHz only a few weeks ago and they have now announced a modified pricing structure for the 7000 series.

(insert generic radeon picture here)

- The Radeon HD 7970 will be available for $429 USD, down from $449 ($499 for GHz ed.)
- The Radeon HD Radeon HD 7950 will be available for $349 USD, down from $399.
- The AMD Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition will now be available for $299 USD, down from $349 at launch.

AMD have stated that these changes will go into effect on.... today! They are also pushing their recent Catalyst 12.7 drivers saying that the 7000 series gets a "significant performance bump" from them.
