UPDATED: We now have confirmation via AMD_UK's Twitter Feed that this offer is valid and available at today OverclockersUK.

Original Story:

AMD's RX 400-series GPUs already offer solid value for money, but recently AMD have put their backs into delivering more bang per buck to consumers in the form of free game bundles with the new GPUs. As well as a Doom offer alongside older R9 390 & 390X cards, last week it was announced that selected retailers would offering Civilization VI with new Radeon RX 480 graphics cards; now the Red Team's RX 470 is purportedly getting in on the act.

According to Fudzilla AMD will be bundling Hitman: The Complete First Season with new Radeon RX 470's, an offer similar to that for the RX 390 announced in February. One key difference is that consumers can make a purchase having read reviews of the entirety of Hitman's seven chunks of episodic content that constitutes the 'First Season', rather than effectively sight-unseen.

A couple of words of caution however - since Fudzilla posted this news AMD have taken the offer down from their official AMDRewards site, so it may have gone up a little prematurely (a distinct possibility with Black Friday looming). Furthermore, as is typical for AMD's game bundles, the offer is limited to participating retailers; you'll need to ensure your retailer of choice is participating before you buy. The offer is scheduled to run until February 22nd, so there should still be plenty of time to contemplate your purchase.

It's also worthy of note that Hitman optionally utilises a DirectX 12 renderer, improving game performance on AMD Polaris architecture cards particularly.
