AMD are organising a product showcase for upcoming graphics devices in an event streamed live on AMD.com. The AMD GPU '14 Tech Day, scheduled for the 25th of this month, will outline some of what we can look forward to in the next year, with an emphasis on GPUs and associated devices.

It is believed by many that this event will be the first public showing of the eagerly awaited Hawaii GPU, the follow-up this generations Tahiti. These GPUs will form the heart of AMD's 9000-series performance and gaming VGA cards, with a possible shaking up of the naming conventions to boot.

In a recent interview with Forbes Online Matt Skynner, Corporate Vice President and General Manager of AMD’s Graphics Business Unit, teased a few details of the upcoming GPU. Namely that it remains on the 28nm process, will be 30% smaller than the GK110 driving NVIDIA's GTX Titan, will likely see a Q4 2013 release, and that they are not targeting the $999 price point for their single-GPU cards. The full interview is well worth a read.

We would also not be shocked to see new information regarding the Never Setting Forever game bundle, perhaps including Triple-A titles for Gold and Silver reward pools.

The Webcast will begin at 12pm PDT / 3pm EDT / 8pm BST / 9pm CEST, and can be found on the Investor Relation homepage or through the AMD Gaming Facebook and Youtube Channel. If you cannot watch it live, a repeat will be available for 30 days after the event.
