AMD Radeon HD 7970 Overclocked to 1.7GHz
As more reports of the Sapphire document tell of a coming Atomic HD 7970 clocked to a staggering 1335MHz core, we are starting to get overclocking results using a voltage mod, latest report from MyDrivers tell of a HD 7970 hitting a whopping 1.7GHz core and 8GHz (effective) GDDR5 memory. While this was under LN2, this helps discover the limits and gives a guide to what we can expect from factory overclocked editions and that the Sapphire Atomic RX with a 1335MHz core speed is entirely believable.
