AMD are improving the launch experience for Windows 10 early adopters today by releasing a new set of Catalyst drivers for their performance GPUs and APU. The previous round of drivers - Catalyst 15.7 - were officially a Technical Preview driver for Windows 10; Catalyst 15.7.1 by contrast is the official launch driver for the new OS, with complementary Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 updates also being issued. We discussed the Catalyst 15.7 driver family feature updates - including more comprehensive VSR support and Frame Rate Control - in our primer article earlier this month.

In addition to any compatibility tweaks found to be necessary in the previous two weeks, AMD have also resolved a number of outstanding issues including Battlefield 4 Mantle errors and the wiping of display profiles when upgrading from earlier driver versions. A full list of resolved issues can be found on the driver page.
