It is unknown whether or not yields are good, or what quantities have been produced but it is likely that AMD will be producing mainstream cards based on the VLIW4 architecture and that the 'Graphics Core Next' will be reserved for the high end 79xx series graphics cards.

It had been observed that a 2011 launch for 28nm products may have been highly unlikely even though AMD had vowed to release their new 7000 series Radeon GPUs this year but recently sources have given information to Heise.de that AMD aim to launch their first line of 28nm GPUs in the second week of December.
