Microsoft is constantly updating its Windows 10 preview with new features and fixes. While an official press event will be held in January outlining what will be available a leaked version of the 9901 build has surfaced which provides an early look at some of the changes being made. The Verge have it up and running and have released some interesting information.

Cortana, the AI from Halo, will be built into the search interface in Windows 10 and will be able to respond to text and voice commands similar to the Windows phone version. However, there is also a new Xbox app which sounds like it could be excellent but appears not to be... at all.

So far the app is just a gateway to Xbox live and the ecosystem associated with it. Friends, achievements and the Xbox store are all that's in it at the moment. Phil Spencer recently tweeted

...it's time for us to talk about gaming on Windows[/url]

Let's hope that this is not what he was talking about. I guess we'll have to wait until January's press event to find out more.

Have you been using the Windows 10 Preview? We'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions on it and whether it's heading in the right direction.
