A document from gamescom indicates that Half Life 3 is in fact due for release this year!



Update: It turns out that this is a mistake according to eurogamer. What a shame but I guess no one is really surprised!

We brought to you earlier the news of a rumoured source engine 2 and how this could lead to a surprise release of Half Life 3.



Recently a document has surfaced from gamescom entitled Neuheitenliste.pdf. Scroll down close to the bottom.

For those too lazy there is a screen grab below.




You can clearly see Half Life 3 is the only game listed next to Valve. Could Half Life 3 really be coming out this year?
