EA have announced a deal with Microsoft to deliver EA access to Xbox One owners in a similar fashion to an Xbox Live account.

Starting at $4.99 a month subscribers to the service (which is still in beta but will be rolled out to everyone soon) will unlock the Vault. The Vault is a collection of EA's biggest games on Xbox One ready for the subscriber to simply download and play. During the beta gamers will have unlimited access to 4 games, FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4 with many more titles being added. Simple maths will tell you that that's over $100 worth of games for $4.99 a month.

However, on top of that there are additional benefits. Members will save 10% on purchases of EA digital content for Xbox One. This includes new titles like Dragon Age: Inquisition as well as BF4 DLC as an example. Members will also be able to trial EA games up to five days before the release date.

You can either pay $4.99 a month or buy an annual membership for $29.99 (that's a lot cheaper by the way) on Xbox LIVE.

While this type of subscription service isn't for everyone it actually can provide great value for gamers and could potentially save a lot of money.
