GIGABYTE announces its new premium AORUS line of gaming graphics card after the launch of the AORUS motherboards with the GTX 1080 AORUS Xtreme Edition. The card harnesses the power of NVIDIA’s Pascal architecture with the new AORUS thermal solution. The GIGABYTE GTX 1080 AORUS Xtreme Edition is VR-Ready and is packed with RGB lighting customizations.

AORUS All-around Cooling Design
The new AORUS graphics card is equipped with an improved version of the legendary WINDFORCE Stack Cooling module. In addition to the GPU, the MOSFET and VRAM of the graphics card are properly cooled to boost performance and provide stability. A large copper base plate up front efficiently transfers heat from the GPU and VRAM to the heat sink. Excess heat is dissipated through the back side with an extra copper plate, overall providing a complete and efficient thermal solution.

The AORUS graphics card line features the WINDFORCE Stack Cooling module uses three 100mm stack fans and 6 composite copper heat pipes for extreme cooling performance. It uses double ball bearing fans for longevity. The fan profile allows a silent semi-passive fan control wherein the fans stop at low loads or idle to conserve energy and for a silent operation. A LED Fan Stop indicator helps users by providing a display of the fan status.

VR-Ready with AORUS VR Link
The GTX 1080 AORUS Xtreme Edition with VR-Ready and setting up your virtual gaming machine is easy with the AORUS VR Link. This exclusive feature comes with 2 more HDMI connectors at the front of the card, offering extra output flexibility for enthusiasts to connect VR devices while using HDMI displays at the same time without the hassle of swapping cables or using any additional adaptors.

Customizable RGB Lighting
The GTX 1080 AORUS Xtreme Edition features RGB lights on both the shroud and the backplate which gives it a fierce look of AORUS from every angle. Users are free to customize the RGB lighting with virtually unlimited color options and light effects to make each gaming rig personal and unique.

Built for Durability and Overclocking
The new AORUS graphics card line guarantees supreme overclocking capability without compromising system reliability. The cards use premium-grade chokes and capacitors also ensures superior durability for a longer system lifespan. The aerospace-grade PCB coating protects the card against moisture, dust, and corrosive contaminants. The metal back plate further strengthens the structure while giving the card a sleek, gaming outlook.

AORUS Graphics Engine
AORUS Graphics Engine is a redesigned utility that provides gamers with a total control of their AORUS gaming graphics card. Via its intuitive interface, clock speeds, voltage, fan profiles, power target, and LED illuminations could be easily managed and customized.
