Intel's 'Haswell' gets Pictured

Haswell is the codename for Intels next 'tock', which is a new architecture that will use the same 22nm fabrication as 'Ivy Bridge', a die shrink of the 'Sandy Bridge' architecture. Considering the new architecture will have a more advanced GPU that previous you can see that the die size is larger than the coming Ivy Bridge die, this is to be expected from a more advanced core on the same fabrication process.


All CPUs are 4 core with HTT


Not too much else is given away from the image other than the rearrangement of resistors and that Intel are preparing samples for testing well before even Ivy Bridge hits the shops.
