Of Orcs and Men set for Septmber Release on PC, PS3 and 360

Of Orcs and Men is a fantasy RPG with a twist.

Every now and then a game with a fresh perspective pops its little head out from behind the object it was hiding behind and says "Look at me!". Of Orcs and Men (although first announced nearly a year ago) will have no doubt gone unnoticed by many of us! However, with a fresh website and a new trailer, this game is starting to turn a few heads.

In a brutal world at war, where the Empire of Men seeks to expand its domination and impose its beliefs, Goblins are systematically persecuted and slaughtered, while Orcs, if not killed in battle, are destined to be enslaved.

This is an interesting premise. The humans are being total gits (no real surprise there) and threatening your lands so who better to send but the incredible Hulk himself and his Goblin companion to mess things up and fight for the survival of your people.

Play as Arkaïl, an elite Orc soldier of the legendary legion of Bloodjaws, a league of warriors devoted to victory in the war against Humankind.
As a veteran group of warriors who have seen the most brutal of battles, the Bloodjaws are appointed to complete a mission that could change the course of the war: kill the one man responsible for all of the bloodshed, the one who has, for years, exhorted the human masses to loath and fight the green-skinned people... the Emperor himself.

A Goblin, Styx, will soon join you to aid you in your mission; he is everything Arkaïl is not. But you will find that this works to your advantage on and off battlefield.

taking advantage of their natural traits, they will have their own skill trees you can develop. While Arkaïl focuses on power, due to his incredible strength, Styx benefits from darker powers and stealth abilities, making him the perfect assassin.

From the filthy alleys at the foot of the Great Wall to the depths of the Empire of Men, your heroes will face the greatest dangers throughout their epic quest. As the world falls into chaos and you face a cruel and merciless humanity bent on eternal persecution of Orcs and Goblins, your unlikely duo will have one last chance to change the course of History and, hopefully, bring peace between your peoples.

Of Orcs and Men, the role-playing game jointly realized by Spiders (Realization and Development) and Cyanide (Concept and Production) for PlayStation®3, Xbox 360® and PC. Now, while neither of these studio's have created a successful game before the premise and the trailers do provide some hope! If everything stays on track we won't have to wait very long to see how good, or bad, this game is.
