PC System Requirements for Dishonored

With less than two months until Dishonored’s release, we want players to prepare their weapons of revenge.



No matter how great a new game looks to be there is always one burning question on every PC gamers minds. Will my PC run this? Bethesda have now released the minimum and recommended specs for Dishonored and I have to say they are very generous.



Minimum Spec:

OS: Windows Vista / Windows 7
Processor: 3.0 GHz dual core or better
Memory: 4 GB system RAM
Hard Disk Space: 9 GB
Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible with 512 MB video RAM or better (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850)
Sound: Windows compatible sound card

Enhanced for:
64-bit
multi-core

Recommended Spec:

OS: Windows Vista / Windows 7
Processor: 2.4 GHz quad core or better
Memory: 4 GB system RAM
Hard Disk Space: 9 GB
Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible with 768 MB video RAM or better (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850)
Sound: Windows compatible sound card


Simply put, these specs are great and I am sure the enhancements for 64-bit and multi-core have a big part to play in lower specs. Judging by some of the screenshots and videos the game looks quite good too!
