Samsung releases two new V-NAND based NVMe M.2 SSDs, the Samsung 960 EVO and 960 PRO SSDs. Samsung aims to continue its worldwide leadership in terms of advanced memory and storage solutions with the release of these two NVMe SSD models. The 960 EVO and 960 PRO promises top-notch performance and endurance along with the new and improved Samsung Magician software package for an unbeatable performance.
The new Samsung 960 EVO and 960 PRO SSDs are designed as storage solution for PCs and thin ultrabooks and other applications that demand smaller but faster SSDs. The 960 EVO and 960 PRO SSDs are ideal for any use from gaming to data analytics to 4K video rendering. The new Samsung SSDs use PCIe Gen 3x4 lane interface and takes advantage of the latest NVMe SSD technology and Samsung's Dynamic Thermal Guard technology to give the best performance under heavy workloads.
Samsung boasts the 960 PRO to be the fastest M.2 NVMe SSD today and it is available in capacities of up to 2 Terabytes.
