Updated Bulldozer Information

News Editor: Tony Le Bourne Date: 14-07-2011 [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]  Discuss in Forums

Over at Donanimhaber they get a lot of juicy leaks and information and now we can see what will be coming soon from AMD.

While AMD have, arguably, got their tail in a twist over the coming release of the Bulldozer based FX CPUs, information has appeared showing the revised clock speeds. Most seem to be relatively higher than what may have been anticipated, no doubt to compete against Intel's Sandy Bridge CPUs. Interestingly there are some new variations that have yet to have announced clock speeds such as the FX-4120 and the FX-6120 maybe these are a new stepping? While the FX-8100 appears to be offering entry into the octo-core at a reduced speed and most likely price too. (maybe these are the low clocking B1 steppings?)

Still no official time set for release but they are expected in August-September
