With so many products being released recently, the enthusiast is truly spoilt for choice. One might even say overloaded. In an unprecedented move, a new CPU coupled with a new chipset along two new graphics card releases have meant that our office resembles a store room of a major component distribution centre! We are trying to get through these products as quickly as possible without compromising the quality of articles you have come to expect here at Vortez.

Next up on the X99 test bench is the ASUS X99 Deluxe.

In the words of ASUS:
Fully loaded with unmatched performance, 3x3 802.11ac Wi-Fi and extra fan extension card for an awesome X99 build.

Fully loaded is a massive understatement. This board has more features than you can shake a stick at. 3x3 (3T3R) 802.11ac Wi-Fi, fan extensions, Hyper M.2 x4 are just a few of the features available on this monster motherboard. As you can see above, it also looks the business with contrasting black grey and white trim along with very feint blue highlighting. Perhaps most intriguingly, if features a Patent Pending OC Socket which ASUS claim will drive up both CPU and DDR4 performance.

The differences and obviously our own results will be detailed in our full, in-depth review but the initial signs when we attempted a few 'dirty' overclocks were impressive so we will be taking our time with this one, concentrating more on the memory overclocking aspect of the board and latest chipset.

Rest assured we will unveil this master class of motherboard design in the very near future. Keep checking back here for the latest updates.
