The setup we used to test these fans is the same one we used in our earlier review of Corsair’s ML fans. We tested the fans at both 12 and five volts, because you might want to use these fans as case fans. You might have noticed that some of our fan shots show the LED’s lighting up while the fan is still. This is a graphic demonstration of how the fan power and the LED power are independent of each other.
