Most CPU coolers come accompanied with thermal paste provided by the manufacturer. For our CPU cooling tests we use Noctua’s NT-H1, so to offer up some interesting analysis we test the thermal paste pre-applied to this closed loop cooler against NT-H1 to see which gives the best results during stock and overclocked performance and the results really aren't that much different at all – the results are marginal.
