Packaging & First Look

The outer packaging seems a little busy for no real reason, and the G.SKILL brand is written in an almost unfamiliar manner. If you weren't familiar with the G.SKILL brand, you could be forgiven for thinking that the brand was 'RGB'... The image of the mouse seems partially clipped but does offer insight as to what the product looks like.

At the bottom there is good, useful information about the product and its features as well as the elusive G.SKILL RIPJAWS branding.

Opened up we get closer look at the product including some accessories while the inner sleeve demonstrates the interchangeable grips.

The back of the box looks like a completely different product, and would look like the front if it weren't for the multilingual information at the base. Though at least they enable the consumer to be absolutely certain about what it is they are buying.

Inside you will find the manual, 2x 4.5g weights, a thumb hex key (similar to that which comes with the Corsair Scimitar) and a large pair and smaller pair of magnetic side grips.

A closer look at the grips.

The RIPJAWS MX780 features a 1.8m long braided cable and a metal frame which is reminiscent of the Cyborg RAT.
