For overclocking our AMD cards we will be using MSI Afterburner as this gives us all of the options we require.



Above is a screenshot of GPU-Z showing the factory overclock of our sample.



With the factory overclock set so high we were not expecting any further leaps and while we did manage to increase the clockspeed a little, it was far from impressive. We originally set the core clockspeed to 1200MHz which the reference design is capable of and while this card too, managed a few benchmarks at this speed it was far from stable. We had to drop the clockspeed back to 1160MHz until 24/7 stability was attained.

So on the one hand, overclockers will be disappointed but those looking for one of the fastest factory overclocks on this range will be impressed.
