Moving to the overclocking phase of our review the above result highlights the small headroom available for overclocking 9900K.
Our best result allowed us to hit over 5GHz, requiring 1.3v. Nudging up the frequency above this required more voltage and thus higher temperatures - taking us above the safezone parameter.
