Today were looking at the 2TB T-FORCE Z44A5, an M.2 NVMe SSD supporting PCIe Gen4x4 signalling with advertised read/write rates of 5000/4500 MB/s respectively. This drive, which is intended for high performance gaming systems, also supports important technologies including garbage collection, TRIM, LDPC error correction, and end-to-end data protection; cumulatively, they will improve longevity and security for what remains a non-trivial investment for an SSD.
The Z44A5 is also available in 512GB and 1TB capacities, each utilising the 2280 M.2 form factor. They should not be mistaken for the T-FORCE Z44A7, a superficially similar series boasting meaningfully higher read/write performance that is currently unavailable in most regions.
