ZOTAC ZBOX nano AD12 PLUS Review

Testing Methodology and CPU-Z/GPU-Z

We based the testing of the AD12 on what we felt to be its intended use: 1080p/720p HD media playback via local, network and internet streaming and basic office workload tasks. Whilst systems with similar specs have been known to have limited gaming capability, the AD12's low amount of RAM make it impractical for 3D gaming except in older titles such as Quake 3 etc.

Also important for most end-users are noise at idle and load, as well as qualitative analysis of the 'type' of noise. HTPCs are intended to be as near to silent as possible, so assessing the noise generated by the AD12 during testing is crucial.
