Thermaltake TMG IA1 Heatsink Review @ Hi Tech Legion

Thermaltake TMG IA1 Heatsink Review @ Hi Tech Legion
"Thermaltake's TMG IA1 looks like the Hulk. The TMG IA1 by Thermaltake may look intimidating at first, but it's completely harmless. The bulkiness of this heatsink can discourage a novice setting up their own computer for their first time, but if there is a will, there's a way. Thermaltake's reputation is strong when it comes to heatsinks, and computer components in general. The heatsink has four copper bars, and the bulkiness of the design is for conducting the heat coming from the CPU effectively and also, at the same time, the surfaces dissipate the heat. Let's find out if this medicine will tame the fever."

Speedblack Gaming Platform Review @ XSReviews
"With the wide range of games on different consoles, they give rise to some interesting accessories and peripherals. We've seen mech controllers that are 4ft long on the original Xbox, Wii motes, Light guns, dance mats and a whole host of others. Sometimes though, these accessories have their own accessories; like the Speedblack. This gaming platform is designed to give you a sturdy surface to race on, with your steering wheel and pedals. Is it worth it? Let's find out."

ASUS ENGTS250 DK Geforce GTS 250 Videocard Review

ASUS ENGTS250 DK Geforce GTS 250 Videocard Review
"Enter the Asus ENGTS250 DK (for Dark Knight) HTDI/512MD3/AR/A PCI Express 2.0 x16 videocard. ASUS's ENGTS250 DK videocard should draw less power and produce less heat than the Geforece 9800GTX+, and in this case makes use of a very nice and pretty quiet heatsink. It will be interesting to find out whether the Geforce GTS250 or Radeon HD 4850 offer the best value for the gaming enthusiast on a moderate budget. And just because we like you (thank you for reading our reviews!), we've nabbed a second Geforce GTS 250 from Asus so you can see how two of these bad-boys will perform in SLI mode."

Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R Motherboard Review @ Hi Tech Legion
"I'm impressed with the performance I received from the Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R. I started this review expecting a minimal overclock due to the motherboard itself and found that if it weren't for my heatsink I would have more room. Friends have told me horror stories of how different the BIOS were going to be, due to the addition of QPI, so I was a little worried about setting up the BIOS when I began to overclock. Personally, I found them simple - names might have changed, but when I realized what was what, it was like getting back on the bike you hadn't ridden for a long time."

Zalman 770 XT Review @ XSReviews
"Choosing a power supply gives endless choice with seemingly hundreds of units to choose from; with different watts, colours, sizes and styles. But, it all boils down to two things – stable rails and efficiency. With poor performance in these two areas, no matter how glamorous or how quiet the unit may be, it’s not really up to scratch. At XSReviews today, we have a 770W unit that comes from a very reputable company. Introducing the Zalman ZM770-XT Z-Machine Extreme PSU, let’s see if it can blow us away with its performance."

Thrustmaster Run-N-Drive PC/PS3 Wireless Gamepad @ Benchmark Reviews
Since testing computer hardware products is a PC-centric task, I've never wandered very far from what I know. But after writing my editorial Year In Review: 2008 Computer Hardware Industry Failure it seemed wrong not to taste the forbidden fruit... so I purchased a Sony PlayStation 3. Aside from the PS3 system, which quickly received an Editors Choice Award-winning Solid State Drive upgrade, I also purchased nearly two-dozen games and a Blu-ray remote control. I soon discovered that my racing skills were lacking... and I needed an edge. Enter the new-and-improved Thrustmaster Ru! n'N'Drive wireless gamepad, model 4160527. Now unplugged and built around the 2.4 GHz wireless radio band, this PC/PS2/PS3-compatible controller takes the Sony SIXAXIS to the next level and adds an optical wheel and under-belly triggers.

Patriot Viper Series DDR3 PC3 12800 1600 MHz 6GB Kit Review @ Hi Tech Legion
"The Patriot Viper Series DDR3 PC-3 12800 1600MHz 6GB Low Latency Kit is a type of RAM which many newer systems are using. It is also XMP (includes XMP settings) so the Viper Series DDR3 PC-3 12800 1600MHz Kit is optimized for use with the Intel Core I7 processors. Earlier this year AMD also introduced a new processor that will be DDR3 compatible (will require a motherboard upgrade also) so no matter what side of the fence you choose, it will be possible to utilize the Patriot Viper Series of DDR3 PC-3 RAM. Let’s start with a closer look at this 1600MHz RAM and then we’ll proceed towards its performance."

CM Storm Scout Gaming Case SGC-2000-KKN1-GP @ Benchmark Reviews
"What differentiates a serious Gaming PC from all the rest of the PCs in the world? To me, it's all about graphics performance, but I know there are many who would disagree. They would say it's a combination of factors, including appearance and some extra functionality needed to survive the physical gaming environment. Cooler Master has created a new division called CM Storm to address the specific needs of gamers. Their latest product, introduced at CEBIT in early March, is called Scout: The True Gaming Case, and is aimed at the mid-market enthusiast. The first thing you notice about the CM Storm Scout Gaming Case is its appearance, particularly the swooping, integrated handle that graces the top surface. That's an obvious nod to the LAN Party setting, but what about the rest of the case? The Scout has several other features that are aimed at the gaming market, as we'll see. Follow along with Benchmark Reviews and let'! s see if the Scout (SGC-2000-KKN1-GP) has enough gaming DNA to survive the ruthless natural selection process that takes place in this very demanding marketplace."

The Godfather II PC Review @ TestFreaks

The Godfather II PC Review @ TestFreaks
"The Godfather II was officially released by EA yesterday, I was going to try and have the review up for the release day, but honestly I spent too much time playing it and wasn’t ready, so what’s one more day right? Seriously though, I’ve been playing this game almost non-stop, and it’s addictive and a ton of fun, there were a few days where I sat down and played then the next thing I knew it was 1am, yes it’s that much fun, it’s very engrossing and you just want to keep playing to see what is going to happen next. It can get repetitive though, there’s a lot of driving around and running around really, but I think it’s worth it in the end. the Godfather II offers quite a bit for players who like GTA style games, and even if you don’t, GF II combines strategy with third-person shooter, you’re not just going to be running around whacking people off, you’ll also need to strategize and plan your way to taking over the city from the other families, and at the same time protect your rackets from being taken over by them.
*Before you continue into this review, here’s fair warning that the images might be considered NSFW, depending where you work at, though I did do a bit of censoring to the images to tone them down a notch to more of a PG-13 level."

ASUS EAH4890 HTDI/1GD5/A Radeon HD 4890 Videocard Review
"As you might have guessed, ATI's new Radeon HD 4890 videocard is well placed to compete with enthusiast videocards like the Radeon HD 4870 1GB and Geforce GTx275. What makes the ASUS EAH4890 HTDI/1GD5/A particularly stand out from the crowd is a special tool in its overclocking feature set - GPU Voltage Tweaking. And if PCSTATS own overclocking tests are anything to go by, pushing the Radeon HD 4890 to 1000MHz core is certainly possible!"
