Thermaltake ISGC-400 CPU Cooler Review @ Hi Tech Legion

Thermaltake ISGC-400 CPU Cooler Review @ Hi Tech Legion
"Recently I built a decent AMD/ATI based system for gaming that was built in the NZXT Guardian 921 case, which is a normal size mid tower gaming case. This case, though roomy enough to accommodate a 4870 X2 graphics card, was unable to house a tall heatsink, such as the Titan Fenrir or Thermaltake ISGC 300, comfortably without removing the case's side fan and having the heatsink touching the side panel acrylic window. Now this left me considering taking the system back out and using a different case, but then I realized that I had received a new heatsink that might just fit and provide the performance I would need, and it was even a part of the silent gaming series from Thermaltake."

Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Compound Video Review @ eTeknix
"Thermal Compound or thermal paste is probably the least exciting part of any PC build, but on the other hand, is also one of the most vital. It sits between your CPU’s IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader) and the base of your heatsink. You will usually find thermal paste on your motherboard’s north and southbridge coolers and graphics card cooling as well.
Ever since the beginning of time, Artic Silver have been the market leader in regards to thermal compounds, with their Arctic Silver 5 selling by the bucket load."

Thermaltake V9 Black Edition Gamer Chassis Review @ OverclockersHQ
"Gamers love their fans, and the bigger they are the more impressive they are. PC chassis manufacturers are starting to add more and more fans to gamer cases and the only time they add less is when they are using the new monster 230mm fans. The new 20mm fans push an incredible amount of air through your case ensure that it stays nice and cool and your components last for years to come. The Thermaltak v9 Black Edition Gamer Chassis is one such case with a serious amount of cooling pumping through it. Let’s get a closer look:"

MSI N250GTS 2D1G OC Review @ Hi Tech Legion

MSI N250GTS 2D1G OC Review @ Hi Tech Legion
"For gamers, keeping the GPU cool is of utmost importance and with only two (air cooling) options, stock or aftermarket, you will need to choose wisely before making an investment in a new video card. Let’s face it, years ago if you wanted to game or overclock your GPU,you needed an aftermarket heatsink/fan combination. In the past few years, manufacturers have realized this and have been producing their own combinations to help alleviate the cost of purchasing an aftermarket cooler.
The MSI N250GTS 2D1G OC is a video card with such a cooler, on this card you will not find the stock cooler that you may find on a NVIDIA reference board. On the MSI N250GTS 2D1G OC you’ll find that MSI has replaced it with a four heatpipe heatsink and cooling fan. The MSI N250GTS 2D1G OC is a preoverclocked version of the 1GB Geforce GTS 250, clock speeds are set to 760MHz on the core and 2300 MHz on the memory."

ZOTAC IONITX-A-U Atom N330 WiFi N Motherboard Kit @ Benchmark Reviews
"We all want more for less. That's why enthusiasts overclock, and that's why we build HTPCs. The PlayStation 3 game console has sold millions of units because of its ability to delivery realistic video game performance, but Sony has sold more units because of the PS3's Blu-ray Disc player capability than any other factor. Bringing personal computer technology into the home theater environment has just come one step closer, thanks to the NVIDIA ION platform. The synergistic effect of an NVIDIA GeForce 9400M and the dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom process have delivered true high-definition performance beyond any HTPC before it. The Zotac IONITX-A-U packages the Atom N330 CPU and 9400M GPU on a Mini-ITX DDR2 motherboard. Benchmark Reviews discovers how nice it is to have native HDMI connectivity from the HTPC into the HDTV in this article."

Noctua NF-S12B FLX 120mm Fan Reviewed @ DragonSteelMods
"Today for review I've got another 120mm fan entry from Noctua, it's called the NF-S12B FLX, the FLX meaning flex, or that it can be run at variable speeds. I've put the NF-S12B FLX up against several other fans I've got on hand, including Noctua ones, and it performs admirably well."

Vantec Nexstar CX HDD Enclosure Review @ Hi Tech Legion
"Enter the Vantec Nexstar CX! The Nexstar CX by Vantec is a Hard Drive Disk (HDD) enclosure for 3.5" SATA HDDs. The Nexstar CX comes in three flavors, one is USB 2.0/eSATA for 3.5” HDDS, another is strictly USB 2.0 for 3.5” HDDs and the other is strictly USB 2.0 for the smaller 2.5” HDDs. The patented design of this enclosure allows for maximum noise reduction and fairly decent heat dissipation. Another perk is that the cables are kept to a minimum. The CX can support HDDs up to 2 TB and is compatible with Mac OS X and Windows."

In-Win B2 Stealth Bomber PC Chassis Review @ OverclockersHQ
"Speed, stealth, and function are important for more than just a military air craft. CoolerMaster HAF 922 Case Review @ Hi Tech Legion

CoolerMaster HAF 922 Case Review @ Hi Tech Legion
"The Cooler Master HAF 922 Case is just the product to give you options. Cooler Master HAF 922 has options for fan placement and size to meet your air flow and direction needs. The HAF 922 by Cooler Master has a cut out in the motherboard plate to allow you to switch CPU cooler back plates without worrying about taking the whole motherboard out, which, if you have to do this often, is a benefit that saves time and frustration. The Cooler Master HAF 922 is already fabricated for water cooling but has a great design for air cooling also, giving you more options. The HAF 922 has the option to turn off the LED light in the case with a button on top of the case so that your wife does not complain about all the light coming from your new case. The HAF 922 is spacious so you can accommodate large items such as a full size graphics card, a radiator, or even large CPU Coolers."

ASUS Maximus II Gene mATX Motherboard @ Benchmark Reviews
"ASUS has some tough shoes to fill. Fortunately, they're familiar shoes; their own, in fact. A long string of high performance motherboards that got adopted simultaneously by the enthusiast and gaming sets, led ASUS to create a specialty brand segment they call "Republic of Gamers". The ROG Creed goes like this: "The Republic of Gamers is committed to delivering the most innovative and best performing PC solutions to enhance the gaming experience of power users." That's a tall order, especially in the competitive PC component market where today's news is already old news. One of the newest members of this Republic is the Maximus II GENE, part of a new group of small form factor components that give nothing away in performance to their larger brethren. Benchmark Reviews is pleased to review this latest offering, based on the Intel P45 and ICH10R, and we put it through the wringer against a well known full ATX-size reference boa! rd."

BluTiger Computer and Gaming 5.1 Speakers with Dual Spectrum Displays Review @ OverclockersHQ
"Gamers are starting to dominate the market for PC buying power and they aren’t buying the cheap stuff; serious enthusiasts and PC Gamers always want the best of the best and they are willing to pay handsomely for it this makes the PC Gaming world and extremely competitive market. Not only is it incredibly difficult to compete it is also extremely difficult to break into. Blu Tiger is a relatively new comer to the PC Speaker market and their flagship product the Blu Tiger Computer and Gaming 5.1 Speakers is an impressive step in the right direction to gaining ground with gamers. The use of MDF as opposed to plastic is a major plus in my opinion and the shear wattage potential from these is something to definitely pique my interest. Let’s get a closer look:"

Kingston HyperX Fan Review @ DragonSteelMods.com
"Kingston recently introduced the HyperX Fan to compliment their HyperX line of ram, but it can be purchased separately for use with any ram, and they were kind enough to send one over for review. Normally this kind of thing is not very useful really, in my experience with ram coolers they tend not to work very well, but the HyperX Fan is truly an exception. The HyperX Fan works, and works very well, it's easy to install and the bright blue LEDs will add a bit of color to your case. So read on to check it out and learn just how well it performs... "
