Sapphire HD4890 Toxic Vapor-X 11150-01-40R @ Benchmark Reviews
"Sapphire has four ranges for most top-end products they offer: standard, Vapor-X, Toxic, and Atomic. While each is different in its own right, for most gamers it is the Toxic design that draws the most attention. Combining the Vapor-X cooling with overclocks seen on the Atomic, the Toxic brand is the most elite air-cooled video card Sapphire offers. In this article, Benchmark Reviews tests the performance on the Sapphire HD4890 Toxic Vapor-X 11150-01-40R video card against many of the other best graphics accelerator solutions in the price segment. FPS tests compare frame rates between low to high-end video cards, including a pair of CrossFireX Radeon HD 4770's."

Bypass MSN Messenger Anti Virus Check @ XSReviews
"Windows Live Messenger, or “MSN” as it is still known by most users is undoubtedly one of the most popular IM clients in the world. With Version 2009 a host of new features have been added, some of which we like; others less so. One of the most annoying changes is requirement to have certain file types scanned by an antivirus package before you can send or receive them. Whilst we agree that security is important, we don’t want to be mollycoddled by Microsoft every time someone sends us a Zip file."

H.A.W.X. PC Game Review @ TestFreaks
"When you hear the name Tom Clancy, you think of his books first and then a very close second, the games that bear his name. The majority of his games, like the Rainbow Six collection are all about teamwork, stealth and tactics. The game I have for review today veers a bit off from the norm of his games, it’s called H.A.W.X. and it’s a flying game, not a flight simulator, more of an arcade style combat flight game. H.A.W.X. is set in the near future where corporations have basically replaced government run military in many countries, they’re mercenaries essentially."

Recycled PC: Old Computers with a New Purpose @ Benchmark Reviews
"Frequently, we find that new technological breakthroughs make old hardware that was just fine seem quaint. Be it a race toward higher clock speeds, faster front side buses, multiple cores, etc, computers become disused and replaced. Green attitudes have dissuaded people from tossing out components that are, for all intents and purposes, quite harmful to the environment. Moreover, current operating systems are becoming more power hungry let alone the software that runs on them. What's interesting about these computers is that in many cases they're perfectly useable. Here at Benchmark Reviews, we'll provide our list of uses for recycled computers."

Razer Lachesis 4000 dpi Gaming Mouse Review @ Hi Tech Legion

Razer Lachesis 4000 dpi Gaming Mouse Review @ Hi Tech Legion
Snippet: "The Razer Lachesis gaming mouse is a USB wired 4000 dpi laser mouse designed with gamers in mind. The Razer Lachesis gaming mouse features on the fly sensitivity adjustments, as well as an impressive array of buttons, including two main buttons, four side buttons, two top on the fly adjustment buttons, and four way scroll wheel. The Razer Lachesis has a 4000 dpi laser with quick response times and smooth sensitivity settings.
I had switched to controllers several years back because the mice just couldn’t provide me with the accuracy and response I was looking for, until now. The Razer Lachesis 4000 dpi mouse has really pushed the envelope of gaming mice with a strong product that remains responsive and accurate through all dpi and sensitivity settings. The Razer Lachesis is a phenomenal mouse that is well worth the $79.99 fee for admission, with a full feature set that will satisfy the most demanding of gamers."

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16GHz 1333MHz FSB Processor Review @ PCSTATS.com

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16GHz 1333MHz FSB Processor Review
"Everyone's wanted to trade up at times. Sure, you can get the 8oz steak for $15, but the 12oz steak is only $17.... Sometimes the choice can be as easy as calculating performance versus price, but other times it's worth to pay more if it will really satisfy your needs. The 3.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 CPU is a dual-core chip based on the 45nm 'Wolfdale' core that falls into the upper end of family, supplanted only by the relatively expensive Core 2 Duo E8600."

ASUS EN9600GT DI/512MD3/A Geforce 9600GT Rev.B Videocard Review
"The ASUS EN9600GT DI/512MD3/A videocard has a core clockspeed of 600MHz, a 1500Mhz shader clock and 512MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 900MHz. An HDMI output on the videocard makes it ideal for home theatre PC use, the absence of a power connector good for users with older PCs seeking newer PCI Express 2.0 x16 gaming goodness."

OCZ Summit MLC SSD OCZSSD2-1SUM120G @ Benchmark Review

OCZ Summit MLC SSD OCZSSD2-1SUM120G @ Benchmark Review
"Samsung makes the DRAM modules found in nearly all popular SSD products today, with Elpida and Qimonda also adding their name to cache buffer parts. JMicron, Indilinx, and Samsung engineer many of the most well-known SSDs on the market, with OEM companies adding their own branding, custom-tuned firmware, and warranty. The OCZ Summit SATA-II MLC SSD is another such OEM product, built from the PB22-J model that Samsung decided not to ODM and sell themselves. Equipped with the Samsung S3C29RBB01 SSD controller and a 128MB cache buffer, OCZ intends to keep their crown as the King of SSD product offerings with the Summit OCZSSD2-1SUM120G."

Thermaltake Unveils Level 10 at Computex 2009 @ Hi Tech Legion
"Thermaltake was nice enough to send Hi Tech Legion some images of their new Level 10 Station. This case appears to have great cable management and a lot of innovations that may have never been attempted before. I have tried to put together a full progression of the case from the pictures sent to me which were not in sequence. (LOL). You will also find pictures of Thermaltake setting up their display at Computex 2009 and a few pictures of the venue."

Thermaltake Speedo Advance Package VI90001W2Z @ Benchmark Reviews
"Think excitement - Think Spedo! At least that's Thermaltakes' spin on it. But what's in a name anyway? Well, a lot less than what's packed inside this Spedo... Spedo Advance Package gaming chassis that is. Name aside this case at first glance appears to have a lot going for it. It has a laundry list that would rival St. Nicks naughty/nice list in length, items such as Advanced Thermal Chambers (A.T.C. 3) and Cable Routing Management (C.R.M. 3). Is all this stuff needed or is this a gimmick? Benchmark Reviews will take a closer look at the outwardly impressive Spedo Advanced Package full tower case (model VI90001W2Z) and see if this is eye candy or the real deal. My hopes are high as this is really the first case that I've reviewed that has many of missing elements on my cons list of previous chassis reviews."

NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision Review @ Hi Tech Legion

NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision Review @ Hi Tech Legion
"I can remember when Donkey Kong and Pac-Man ruled the roost when it came to video games. I used to save as many quarters as possible throughout the week so I could head to the local café on Friday and Saturday and play either of them for hours on end. Café? Yes, Café, I grew up in Newark, N.J. (Down Neck Newark) - we didn’t have arcades, we had the neighborhood café that had a couple video games.
NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision is a Stereoscopic solution that allows you to game in 3D right from your computer. The GeForce 3D Vision hardware can be purchased as a single unit, which would be 3D Stereoscopic glasses and an IR emitter, or as a bundle, which includes a 22” 120 Hz LCD monitor. (You will need a 120 Hz monitor * to play in 3D, details can be found later in this review.) NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision is yet another tool you can take advantage of, if you own an NVIDIA GPU that is PhysX and CUDA ready."

LaCie 2big 1 Terabyte Network Attached Storage Hard Drive @ TestFreaks
"Today for review I’ve got the LaCie 2big 1TB NAS Box from Geeks.com, it’s of Neil Poulton design so it looks nice, but looks aren’t everything, it has to perform as well. The LaCie 2big is a fanless NAS box that features the ability to use two SATA hard drives, the one I have today has two 500gig HDDs for a total of 1TB of storage obviously. These hard drives can be configured in BIG or Raid 0 and Safe/Raid 1 mode. The LacCie 2big features a web based interface for access and configuration on your network. So let’s check it out… "

Sapphire HD 4890 Toxic Review @ Hi Tech Legion

Sapphire HD 4890 Toxic Review @ Hi Tech Legion
"Just the other day, I went to a friend’s house to fix one of his computers since he was having a problem with his video card crashing for no specific reason. The first thing I noticed as I walked into his computer room was how much warmer it was than the rest of the house. After commenting on that and shutting off his media player I heard a high pitched whining sound coming from his case. I asked him what it was and he told me he had to keep his ZeroTherm VGA cooler at 100% or his video card would freeze. Right there I knew that heat was his issue and immediately went to check his heatsink for dust build up and to make sure that he had some decent heatsink paste on the GPU. Both were fine but he did have an older ATI card and was overclocking it.
The Sapphire HD 4890 Toxic is a preoverclcked ATI 4890, which comes with Sapphires Vapo-X heatsink and fan. The Sapphire HD 4890 Toxic is built around the ATI RV790 graphics processor which is a 55nm chip has 800 streaming processors. The Toxic is one of three overclocked versions of the HD 4890 that utilize the Sapphire Vapo-X heatsink and fan, cooling solution and it is priced in the middle of those two other cards. (Atomic and Vapo-X)"

Patriot Torqx MLC SSD PFZ128GS25SSDR @ Benchmark Reviews
"Indilinx has been tapped to add their 'Barefoot' controller into the design, and a new generation of Solid State Drives has delivered top-level speed and performance. The Patriot (Fusion) Torqx 128GB MLC SSD is one such product, built from a proven architecture that has done well for others of the same controller family. The Patriot Torqx Solid State Drive adds 64MB of Elpida DRAM to the buffer has permanently solved stuttering problems, making raw performance the last bottleneck. An Indilinx 'Barefoot' internal controller commands the bank of Samsung K9HCG08U1M DRAM modules, allowing the Torqx SSD to offer an impressive capacity with top-speed performance. Benchmark Reviews tests the reaction time and bandwidth performance for the PE000143-PFZ128GS25SSDR 128GB model against over two dozen other products in this article."
