Vista SP1 vs SP2 @ TestFreaks

"So… Service Pack 2 arrived with not a lot of celebration, not much has been really mentioned about it at all anywhere. Being who I am though I like to know things, so I decided to run a whole bunch of tests before and after the upgrade and compare them to see just what, if anything, might have changed."

XTracPads Logic Precision Mousepad @ TestFreaks

"Today for review I’ve got a new pad from XTracPads, it’s the Logic. There are a couple things that set the Logic apart from any other pad out there. The first being that it’s thin, probably the thinnest pad out the on the market today. The second is that it has an adhesive backing that allows you to stick it most anywhere and it will stay there, but it can be easily removed as well and re-stuck elsewhere if need be. So read on to learn more…"

Sparkle GTX260 Core 216 GeForce GTX 260 Videocard Review @ PCSTATS.com

Sparkle GTX260 Core 216 GeForce GTX 260 Videocard Review

"Sparkle has teamed up with nVidia to produce the Sparkle GTX260 Core 216, a graphics card that stands as a direct challenger to AMD's Radeon 4870 graphics card. The "Core 216" part of the Sparkle GTX260 Core 216 videocard's name refers to the GPU having additional shader processors enabled. While the original Geforce 260 GTX had 192 shader processors, the Core 216 variant has an additional 24 enabled, for a grand total of, you guessed it, 216 shader processors."

EVGA GeForce GTX 275 FTW Edition Review @ Hi Tech Legion

EVGA GeForce GTX 275 FTW Edition Review @ Hi Tech Legion

"FTW! A common acronym used by gamers which means: For the Win. But do they know where FTW was derived from and how long it has been in use? The phrase actually started back in the 70’s with the popular game show Hollywood Squares, when a contestant was positive that he was going to beat his opponent he (she) would say For the Win, which was later made an acronym FTW. There was another meaning for FTW, but this was more negative and, as of late, it is not used as commonly. (Use your imagination)

The EVGA GeForce GTX 275 FTW Edition is an overclocked version of the GTX 275 NVIDIA based GPU. The EVGA GTX 275 FTW Edition has a 713 MHz GPU core clock speed and 1260 X2 MHz of Memory clock, as opposed to the standard GTX 275, which comes with 633MHz (core) and 1188 X2 (memory). The EVGA GeForce GTX 275 FTW Edition comes standard with 896 MB of DDR3 Memory and has 240 processing cores, as well as a maximum digital resolution of 2560 X 1600."

Nexus WaveAir @ DragonSteelMods

" Today for review I've got the Nexus WaveAir. This product attaches to a free PCI slot, mounted on the outside of your case and either blows cool air in or extracts hot air from inside of your case. It's an interesting little product that I had high hopes for, but in the end I was let down by the underwhelming performance of the WaveAir..."

Fremont, CA, May 20th, 2009 – Corsair® http://www.corsair.com announced today that Corsair Labs has set the world record for DDR3 frequency on a Core i7 system.

Corsair Labs achieved an astounding speed of DDR3-2533MHz with the aggressive memory timings of 7-8-7-20 using a triple-channel 6GB memory kit. This new world record, verified and validated by CPU-Z, the industry-standard tool for verifying overclocking results, is the first time this frequency has been achieved on a Core i7 system with 6GB of memory using three modules; most world record attempts use only a single 1GB module. Corsair Labs engineers used the award-winning Dominator GT 2000C7 memory with eVGA’s X58 3X SLI Classified motherboard to shatter the world record for memory frequency. Validated results and setup details can be viewed here: CPU-Z Validator 3.0

Antec P193 Case Review @ Hi Tech Legion

Antec P193 Case Review @ Hi Tech Legion

"The Antec P193 is just the case I have been talking about. The P193 by Antec is designed to take care of the small things while still looking sophisticated. The P193 has been designed with layered construction and silicone grommets for the bays to reduce noise from the case. The Antec P193 can hold up to seven fans for maximum cooling and air movement through the P193. And the Antec P193 has been designed not only to hold a standard PSU, but also Antec's own CP series like the reviewed CP-850. The Antec P193 also features an external 200mm fan, so you get both maximum cooling and space for your components. Also, the Antec P193 has had several filters put in place to reduce the amount of dust and debris that sneak their way in to the average case. The P193 features a dual chamber system to keep the PSU and motherboard components separate and reduce the heat in each compartment."

ASUS ENGTX260 Matrix GeForce GTX 260 @ Benchmark Reviews

ASUS ENGTX260 Matrix GeForce GTX 260 @ Benchmark Reviews

"The breakneck pace of product development for graphics cards doesn't always generate bigger, faster, more powerful chips and cards. Sometimes a new product gets developed and introduced to the market that isn't a barn burner. Such is the case with this GTX260-based video card, the ASUS ENGTX260 Matrix. That doesn't mean it isn't a worthwhile product, or isn't worth the attention of Benchmark Reviews. Instead, it's usually a more focused design that is aimed at a tighter target market. As if the high end PC graphics card market isn't tight enough, ASUS has carved out a niche in their product line called Matrix, and adopted it into their Republic of Gamers."
