CoolIT Domino Liquid CPU Cooler Review @ OverclockersHQ

"The house hold computers these days are pumping out mass amounts of wattage that we have previously never seen before. Along with this huge power output is in efficient energy lost due to heat. Temperature is an overclockers worst enemy not to mention the long term effect it has on your expensive computer components. There are a number of cooling options these days but the large majority use air cooling because liquid cooling and the over the top liquid helium and nitrogen cooling are way to expensive. This is where our friends at CoolIT come in to the picture with their very affordable liquid cooling option the Domino, with no messy liquids to top up or leaks to destroy your expensive hardware. Let’s get a good look at this evolution in cpu cooling technology."

Wii Sports Resort Reviewed @ TestFreaks

"The original Wii Sports came bundled with the console and it included a variety of games that basically showed what the console was capable of, Wii Sports Resort though takes things to a new level with more interactive, entertaining and fun games being added to the line up. Wii Sports Resort is Wii Sports 2, but it’s much more than that, it’s more polished, the graphics seem to be improved upon, as much as they can be with the limitations of the console and the games are different, with a resort theme to them. I’ve got screen shots and movies for you of the games and of course my impressions, so read on… "

WD VelociRaptor 300GB SATA HDD WD3000HLFS @ Benchmark Reviews

"Considering the state of the global economy, along with local recession and unemployment, performance computer builders have had to make some difficult decisions. It's not easy to convince enthusiasts that they should invest their money in mechanical hard disk products in the age of Solid State Drives, especially when performance favors SSD's almost two-fold. But the cost of high-performance HDDs has remained very affordable, and the capacity is ever-expanding. In this article, Benchmark Reviews tests the 300GB Western Digital VelociRaptor WD3000HLFS 10,000 RPM SATA Hard Disk Drive against a large field of high-performance storage solutions."

Choiix Mini Air Through Netbook Cooler Review @ OverclockersHQ

"Net books are starting to take a serious chunk of the mobile computing pie. With more and more power being stuffed into a tiny enclosure it is understandable that heat is starting to become an issue. Even though the atom processor is not a push over when it comes to stable temperatures additions like better integrated gpu’s and wi-fi adapters make your net books over all temperatures a serious concern. What is another drawback to owning a netbook over a laptop? A resounding response to this question is easily the lack of USB ports this is where the Choiix Air-through netbook cooler jumps ahead of the the competition and not only gives you the cooling you deserve but also the use of extra port built right in. Thermaltake Tough Power 850 XT PSU Review @ Hi Tech Legion

"In order to achieve that level of performance most of us strive for in our builds comes with purchasing the next best processor or motherboard, and the latest and greatest in the battle among video cards. We get extreme CPU and motherboard combinations, we line up as many graphics cards in our system as the board will allow, all in the name of scorching performance. Many times, however, we overlook what the life blood of the system is and select one based on price rather than needs. Without a good, reliable power supply, even the most awe inspiring rig could mean nothing.

The Thermaltake Tough Power 850 XT packs the power to manage just about any system. The Thermaltake Tough Power 850 XT features modular cabling and extreme caliber power output. The rugged build case houses the high quality construction of this modular power supply with full certifications for SLI and CrossFireX for extreme gaming. The Thermaltake Tough Power 850 also features excellent cooling to maintain stability under high loads."

What if Microsoft and Apple did the World of Warcraft movie? @ TestFreaks

"The World of Warcraft movie, being helmed by none other than “Evil Dead” Sam Raimi (who of course also did the Spiderman blockbusters) has WoW fans anxiously anticipating the movie’s release. But, as far as inquiring minds go, we were wondering what it would be like if the very popular franchise had taken a different direction on its path to the big screen."

"Thankfully Rebit implemented similar features from Time Machine for use in their PC-centric devices. While the user interface is not as polished as the Time Machine’s, it performs almost all of its functions plus a little more. Rebit allows the average PC user to easily backup and restore files with minimal difficulty. “Ridiculously Simple Backup” is not just a slogan; it’s the way the Rebit works."

OCZ Agility MLC SSD OCZSSD2-1AGT120G @ Benchmark Reviews

"Benchmark Reviews has seen Solid State Drive products from every angle, and while SSDs have overtaken hard drive products in terms of speed, there still remains the giant task of beating HDDs in price. That's exactly why OCZ has created the Agility Solid State Drive. Identical to the popular OCZ Vertex SSD in every aspect except NAND selection, the Agility SSD series offers the same Indilinx 'Barefoot' controller and 64MB of DRAM buffer allowing a fast 230 MBps read speed. Benchmark Reviews tests the reaction time and bandwidth performance for the 120GB Agility OCZSSD2-1AGT120G model against over two dozen other storage products in this article."

In-win Ammo 2.5" External Sata HDD Enclosure Review @ OverclockersHQ

"For those out there that need to carry their data, and even sensitive documents (i.e. personal information, industrial drawing, plans for world domination, or what have you) with them on a small 2.5” hard drive but have fear of this data getting into the wrong hands, then fret no longer. Again In-win has come to the fore with another great quality product for both function and looks. With what appears to be an ammo clip for a military rifle, you can have the security knowing that your data will be protected from drops, bangs, and even unwanted snooping. Inside this little enclosure is a rubber holding area to protect your hard drive as well as an RFID Security system that will deny access to anyone that doesn’t possess you security tag that unlocks your data. Let’s take a closer look at how well this works:"

Cirago CMC1000 Multimedia Center Reviewed @ TestFreaks

"HTPCs are great products, but they can be costly and take up a bit of room, there are alternatives though in the form of external hard drives with multi-media capabilities. One such product is what I have for review today, the Cirago CMC1000 Multimedia Center which is essentially an external 3.5″ hard drive with the functions of an HTPC built-in. The CMC1000 features a remote control, HD output including HDMI and Component, wireless and wired network connections and the ability to act as a DVR. It all sounds great right? Intel Core i7 965 Extreme CPU Review @ Hi Tech Legion

Intel Core i7 965 Extreme CPU Review @ Hi Tech Legion

"The performance capabilities of the Core i7 965 Extreme are clearly defined through the various benchmarks performed on the test system. The strong points for the 965 were its superior performance out of the box with the dominance throughout the various benchmarks, especially with the productivity tasks performed by high end workstations. The graphics performance was not as strong in the gaming categories versus the 920, but once overclocked, the 965 out performs the 920 solidly in the gaming benchmarks with a lesser clock speed after overclocking. The additional headroom in overclocking with better cooling would certainly add to the performance of this chip, but when considering the price point and classification of this chip, many of the systems that this chip would find a home in would include water cooling and various other provisions to allow for stronger and higher overclocks, with a much stronger dominance over all the other chips in the market."

Thermaltake MeOrb CPU Cooler Review @ OverclockersHQ

"Low profile coolers are a very specific market and inorder to do well in this market you need experience to back up your claims. Thermaltake is one such company with a long track record of top notch product so when I first hear of a new orb cooler from them I knew that it should have no problem keeping up with confined cooling needs of a 2-3U rack mount server. The MeOrb from Thermaltake is the most recent in a line of great orb based coolers I loved the ruby and golden orb coolers and the MeOrb looks just as impressive as they did. I must say stepping up to the plate with a 47mm in depth cooler is a risky it is pretty hard to pack a large amount of cooling in such a small package. Lets get into this review together and see how well it performs:"

Thermaltake ISGC-100 CPU Cooler Review @ Hi Tech Legion

Thermaltake ISGC-100 CPU Cooler Review @ Hi Tech Legion

"The Thermaltake ISGC-100 did not perform well on the AMD based system when compared to the stock cooler as a simple upgrade. The temperature at idle dropped 2 degrees from stock, but once placed under load, the temperature spiked 5 full degrees above that of the stock cooler under load. These results did not bode well for the ISGC-100 as any form of an upgrade. On the Intel system, the results were better when compared to stock at idle by 2 degrees, but under load, the temperature was again higher than the stock cooler. Results were similar when applied to both mild overclocks, but were no longer compared with stock due to the stock coolers not being able to handle the added heat. It is important to note that this cooler does allow mild overclock and is only intended as an upgrade from stock."

" A little bit ago I took a look at the Diamond ATI Radeon 4870 1gig video card, a higher end card for sure, today though I've got the other side of things, an Nvidia GTS 250 from ECS Elitegroup. It's totally the other side of things, it costs about half as much and it's from a different company, still though I was curious as to how it would perform against my current 4870.
