Thermaltake have recognised that whilst enthusiasts never fail to bang the drum for purchasing high-quality PSUs in desktop PCs, laptop power delivery is often overlooked. AC power adapter bricks are seen as 'good enough' if they come with the laptop, and issues are more often attributed to failing batteries or device internals. Noting that these adaptors are the most commonly used laptop accessory after the laptop itself, Thermaltake wants you to invest in a quality product especially if you're running a gaming laptop with higher than usual requirements.

Available in 90W and 120W versions, the Toughpower Universal AC Power Adaptors are designed with many of Thermaltakes reliability, efficiency and protection features in mind. Both adaptors feature a full range of interchangable DC tips, ensuring compatibility for as many different brands as possible. The 90W edition has a low profile design and can provide up-to 100W with 90W continuous output; whilst designed for 120W continuous output the 120W version can provide up-to 152W peak output, making it ideal for pairing with a gaming laptop.
