Acer presents the Chromebook Tab 10 with Chrome OS that’s designed for students making it Acer’s first Chrome OS tablet for education. The Acer Chromebook Tab 10 is optimized to enhance learning by bringing the simplicity, speed, and security of Chrome OS in a compact and lightweight tablet form factor that students can easily use.

Detailed Visuals with Excellent Portability
The Acer Chromebook Tab 10’s 9.7-inch QXGA IPS touch display offers 2048 x 1536 resolution at 264 pixels per inch offers detailed visuals to help students with study materials. Its slim and lightweight at only 1.21 pounds or 550 grams making it portable and easy to tag along in classes and elsewhere. Its intuitive touch display makes it easy to zoom, spin and navigate through lessons.

Chrome OS Features
The Chromebook Tab 10 powered by Chrome OS makes communication easier with its 2MP front webcam and a 5MP rear camera that clearly captures images and videos. The Wacom EMR Stylus can be easily docked for secure storage which has an independent power supply and resistant to shocks. The Chromebook Tab 10 offers up to 9 hours of battery life enough to last an entire day of schooling.

Management and Security
IT administrators can easily manage the Chromebook Tab 10 and other Chrome OS-powered devices through the Chrome Education license. Chrome OS supports multiple user sign-in to give each student their own set of resources. Important data can be store into personal Google Drive accounts to keep important data safe and secured.

Small, Fast and Powerful
The Acer Chromebook Tab 10 measures just 6.78 (W) x 9.38 (D) x 0.39 (H) inches and is powered by an OP1 Processor that integrates dual-core Cortex-A72 and quad-core Cortex-A53 processors. It packs 4GB of memory and 32GB of onboard storage. For connectivity, the fast wireless connection is powered by the 2x2 MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi. It also packs a USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1 port that offers data transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps. It also has Bluetooth 4.1 to connect other devices. Lastly, it has a headphone/microphone jack combo and microSD card reader.

The Acer Chromebook Tab 10 will support augmented reality in the future to allow students to experience new ways of learning with Expeditions AR.



Pricing and Availability
The new Acer Chromebook Tab 10 (D651N) will be available to education and commercial customers in North America in April with prices starting at US$329 and in Europe, Middle East and Africa by May with a starting price of €329 (including VAT).
