Acer at IFA 2019 introduces the latest generation Acer Swift 5 14” ultrabook featuring the 10th generation Intel Core processors. The new Acer Swift 5 remains to be the world’s lighting 14-inch laptop weighing below 1 kilogram and now powered with a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics. Aside from the latest model for the Acer Swift 5, Acer also announces the next-generation Swift 3 models, also to be powered by the 10th generation Intel Core processors and an optional NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics. Both the Acer Swift 5 and Swift 3 notebooks are designed to be ultra-portable and extremely lightweight.
Acer Swift 5
The new Acer Swift 5 remains to be the world’s lightest 14-inch laptop weighing at 990 grams. The new Acer Swift 5 features the 10th generation Intel Core processors with option of up to a powerful 10th Gen Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor with Intel Iris Plus graphics and discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics, all packed inside a sturdy 14.95mm thin chassis made of magnesium-lithium and magnesium-aluminium alloys. The Acer Swift 5 sports ultra-thin bezels with a high screen-to-body ratio of 86.4%. The Acer Swift 5 can be configured with up to 512GB of fast PCIe SSD storage.
The new Acer Swift 5 is more than just powerful and lightweight, it also comes in stylish colour options that will fit any modern-day user. The Swift 5 also comes with the latest technologies including fast Wi-Fi 6 wireless connectivity and Thunderbolt 3. The Swift 5 supports Windows Hello through a fingerprint reader. The new Acer Swift 5 offers up to 12.5 hours of battery life. With fast-charging, a 30-minute charge offers up to 4.5 hours of battery life.
Acer Swift 3
The Acer Swift 3 is a 14-inch laptop with a thin 15.95 chassis weighing at 1.29 kilograms, also powered by the 10th generation Intel Core processors, up to an Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor with Intel Iris Plus graphics and an optional discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics. The Acer Swift 3 offers up to 512GB of fast PCIe SSD storage and 16GB of LPDDR4 onboard memory. Like the Swift 5, the Swift 3 also comes with the latest Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and ThunderBolt 3. The Acer Swift 3 also offers up to 12.5 hours of battery life with fast-charging. The new Acer Swift 3 is available in steel grey and millennial pink colours.

The Acer Swift 5 will be available in EMEA in September starting at EUR 899; in North America in November, starting at USD 899.99.
