Alienware updates its Area 51 desktop offerings with the latest HEDT processors from AMD and Intel the Intel Core X-Series processors and AMD Threadripper processors. The new Alienware Area 51 HEDT setups are marketed to professional content creators that use resource intensive applications such as 4K, 8K and VR application. The new Alienware Area 51 are also great for gamers offering the best gaming experience with such powerful hardware configurations. The new desktop offerings along with other new Alienware products are showcased at the E3 Expo.
Alienware Area 51 Desktop Features
The Triad Chassis
The Alienware Area 51s Triad chassis is a compact tri-chamber chassis with each chamber housing a particular set of hardware. It can house up to three graphics cards with a graphics card bracket system that protects the cards from shocks and vibrations. The Triad chassis also features AlienFX lighting offering 512 billion lighting configurations.
Advanced Liquid Cooling
With the Area 51 HEDT processors packing a serious amount of cores, Alienware opted for liquid cooling solutions to keep the processors running cool. The Alienware liquid cooling solution offers a life expectancy of 50,000 hours of maintenance-free cooling performance.
Latest High-End Desktop Processors
The new Area 51 desktops will feature the Intel Core X-Series processors available in 5, 8, 10, or 12-core CPU options with Intel Optane Memory support. The Area 51 also has the AMD Threadripper Edition with processors of up to 16-core/32-thread options that supports up to 64 PCIe lanes.
Availability
The Alienware Area 51 Threadripper Edition will be available to order on July 27 and the Alienware Area 51 Intel Edition featuring Intel Core X-Series will arrive on August 22, with pricing to be announced soon.
