Alphacool Introduces Eisblock XPX CPU Water Block, the newest innovation in processor cooling developed by Alphacool. The Alphacool XPX CPU water block’s performance features a significant cooling performance improvement compared to its predecessor, the NexXxoS XP3. Alphacool completely developed the design of the Eisblock XPX CPU water block for three years and from scratch. For example, the Eisblock XPX features fin structure refined further to 0.2mm and the fin count was increased to 81 fins. With a much larger cooling surface which the coolant can flow through, cooling performance is increased.
Alphacool developed and patented a new technology called “Ramp” which ensures that coolant is evenly distributed over the cooling fins. Ramp ensures there is no turbulence in the water flow over the cooling fins wherein it leads to uneven distribution of the coolant in the fins thus decreasing cooling performance. Alphacool also used a double distributor on the Eisblock XPX to ensure less resistance. With the two advanced cooling technologies combined, pump pressure play little to no significant role to the performance of the entire water cooling system. With the Eisblock XPX, you can turn down the pump without losing cooling performance.

New Features
Large Cooling Surface
The bottom surface of the Alphacool Eisblock XPX has been optimized for processors with a large DIE having a cooling surface of 34 x 32mm. With this, even 10-core processors are easy to cool with the Eisblock XPX.
Simplified Brackets
The brackets of the Alphacool Eisblock XPX was adjusted and simplified. The new brackets are easier to use and the aluminum frames come with the same color of the water block itself.
Customization and Illumination
The aluminum body of the Eisblock XPX which covers the entire cooler can be swapped for other models of different color. Also, the Alphacool branding on top of the water block has LED illumination which offers different colors.
