Korean overclocker, NAMEGT, tests and overclocks the new 7th Generation Bristol Ridge AMD A6-9500 with CINEBENCH R11.5 and R15. The AMD A6-9500 is a dual-core processor which was launched recently, September 5, 2016. The Bristol Ridge processors uses the new AMD AM4 socket which utilizes DDR4 memory. The AMD A6-9500 has a base clock of 3.5 Ghz with a maximum turbo core speed of 3.8 Ghz.

The AMD A6-9500 CPU, which was said to be unlocked as per written specifications, was overclocked to 4.3 Ghz using the AMD Wraith air-cooler. The setup had Windows 7 64bit operating system and an ASUS AM4 B350 Octopus motherboard with 16GB of GEIL DDR4 memory at 2400Mhz. The overclocked AMD A6-9500 CPU was able to score 2.13 points on CINEBENCH R11.5 and 169 points on CINEBENCH R15.
